Psychopathology in Dementia -
'Dementia as an organic syndrome highlights the importance of studying psychological symptom in organic condition'. Attempted to study psychopathology in-patients suffering from dementia, by focusing on depressive and psychotic symptoms. The study revealed depressive symptoms more prevalent in mild or early dementia and psychotic symptoms more prevalent in moderately severe dementia. Depressive and psychotic symptoms were co-related with various factors.

Co-authored the paper "Stress in college students" presented at the annual conference of the Bombay psychiatric society in 1998. This paper was awarded the Dr. L P Shah award for the best paper presented at the 40th annual conference of the Bombay Psychiatric Society (1998) held in Bombay.
